本研究主要研究問題為:一、參與美濃地區客語沉浸教學之幼兒整體客語聽說能力表現為何?二、客語沉浸是否能提升幼兒之客語聽說能力?三、不同年齡層幼兒客語聽說能力進步情形為何?本研究的參與者為高雄美濃地區102學年度參與客語沉浸教學的班級,總計有328位幼兒接受評估。研究者在學年初針對幼兒進行前測,一年後進行後測。研究工具為研究者自編之「幼兒客語聽說能力評量表」,主要用來評量幼兒客語聽說能力及口語敍事能力。研究結果顯示,美濃地區客語沉浸式幼兒在經過一年的客語沉浸教學後,整體客語聽說能力有顯著進步,整體的後測平均分數均高於前測的平均分數。本文最後提出建議,可延續及擴大實施客語沉浸教學,並建立退場機制,淘汰品質不佳園所。

英文摘要

To prevent the vanish of Hakka language, the Hakka Affairs Comission of Kaohsiung City implemented Hakka language immersion programs in Meinong area of Kaohsiung. The purposes of this study are to investigate the following research questions: 1. What are the performances of children’s Hakka language listenting and speaking abilities in Meinong? 2. Do Hakka immersion programs promote children’s Hakka language listening and speaking abilities? 3. What are the progresses of children’s Hakka language listening and speaking abilities among different age groups? The participants of this study were children participating in Meinong’s Hakka immersion programs in year 2013. There were 328 children participated in this stuyd. The researcher did the pretest at the beginning of the semester, and then did the posttest at the end of school year. The research instrument is the “children’s Hakka Language Listening and Speaking Evalulation Form” developed by the researcher. The research results show that Hakka immersion children have outstanding performances in Hakka listening and speaking abilities. After one year’s immersion in Hakka immersion program, children’s Hakka listening and speaking abilities have siginificant progresses. Children’s posttest scores are are higher than their pretest scores. In the final paragraph, researcher suggests that Hakka language immersion programs can be promoted in other areas. Meanwhile, Elimination mechanism for Hakka immersion programs should be established for contolloing the programs’ quality.
